Caitlin V. Schultheis, M.D.

About the Doctor

Dr. Schultheis’ interest in medicine started during grade school, when she began learning about the complexities of the human body. She completed her pre-med education at The University of Notre Dame. Upon earning her doctorate in medicine from Florida State University, Dr. Schultheis received the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Award, presented to women graduates in the top ten percent of their class. While completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at The University of Florida, she received the Excellence in Teaching – Golden Apple Award for her skill and effectiveness in clinical teaching. Today Dr. Schultheis is humbled by the trust and confidence her patients place in her. She states this trust only magnifies her dedication to providing the highest quality of care possible.

Dr. Schultheis met her future husband, Evansville native Matthew Schultheis, while attending The University of Notre Dame. She and her husband have now been married for six years and have a four-year-old daughter, Rose. Dr. Schultheis is an associate member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
